I read every message. Expect a reply within 2–3 business days. Privacy and data-removal requests are handled first, usually within 48 hours.
What to write about
Anything to do with the trainer, the site or the guides. The most common reasons people get in touch:
- Bug reports. A key not registering, a mode behaving oddly, a score not submitting. Please include your browser, operating system and keyboard layout if you can — that solves about half of these instantly.
- Leaderboard removal. Want an entry taken off the global board? Email the display name, the mode and roughly when you submitted it, and I'll remove it. No account or proof of identity needed, because the board holds no personal data to verify against.
- Privacy and data requests. Access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA. See the privacy policy for what is actually collected — it is very little.
- Corrections to a guide. If I've got something wrong, or a cited study doesn't say what I claim it says, tell me and I'll fix it and note the correction date on the article.
- Feature requests. New game presets, new modes, keyboard layouts other than QWERTY. A lot of what's on the site started as an email from a player.
- Press, partnerships and advertising. Happy to talk.
Who runs this site
Left Hand Trainer is an independent project built and maintained by Dan W., a PC gamer and developer based in the United States. It isn't a company, a studio or a content farm — it's one person who got tired of fumbling ability keys in ranked and built a drill for it. There are no other staff, contractors or contributors.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, the leaderboard runs on Supabase, and it is funded by advertising and optional Ko-fi tips. Nothing on the site is sponsored, and no guide has ever been paid for by a hardware or game company. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed at the top of the article in question.
A few things I can't help with
To save you an email: I can't recover local scores lost by clearing your browser data — everything except leaderboard submissions is stored on your own device and never uploaded, so I have no copy of it. I also can't restore a broken daily streak, and I don't offer coaching or account services for any game.
Response times, honestly
This is a side project, so I'm reading email in the evenings rather than during business hours. If something looks broken sitewide I'll usually have it patched the same night. If you haven't heard back after a week, please send a follow-up — it means the first one went to spam, which does happen.
